Summer of Art Inspiration Part 4: Animals and Objects

I’m back with more bits and pieces of art inspiration I found around Effingham county this summer! I just wanted to share some cute animals and objects with you, check em out:

Floral vase and woodland animals box - Art Inspiration

These little woodland animal friends helping each other out… I love the sweetness, and also the amount of detail. And every time I look at it again, I find more little tiny songbird friends.

I’m also digging the mint green vase to the left – the drawing style on that flower and butterfly and so great.

Vintage metal roosters wall art - Art Inspiration and Thrifting

A couple of vintage metal roosters for your farm theme kitchen… Are these cast iron? Or Metallica brand? Because they seem like really heavy metal.

Fish Swimming Underwater hand painted ceramic pitcher

Love the gradation of color in this hand painted fish pitcher. Check out the pattern work in the blue seaweedย shapes,ย too!

Birds and Flowers intricate woodwork inlay - Art Inspiration

I don’t know what these are made of – shell maybe? But this dresser rocked four different scenes total of birds perching on branches. And now that I’m looking at it again, they’re not actually different. Just the hand done nature of this style of work, and mirroring the layout, is enough to make it look unique.

Realizing more and more as I go how much I appreciate the hand painted and hand drawn artwork out there over super clean drawn in Illustrator styles. By hand feels so much more unique and special.

Die Cut painted wood buildings - Art Inspiration and Thrifting

The painting on these, close up, isn’t all that super great. But I dig the way the tree was handled. Big fields of solid color, with some brushy hits of another color to suggest leaves.

Painted wood buildings - Art Inspiration and Thrift Store Finds

The group of these together – three dimensional painted buildings are kinda cute!
