Hand Lettering Artist Portfolio

Thanks for taking a look at my hand lettering artist portfolio!

I’ve been exploring the fun that comes with hand-drawn fonts for years. My hand lettering work has been on products in major retailers for clients including Trader Joe’s, Tree Free Greetings, and Design Design. I’ve also had my hand lettering featured on book covers for Capstone Publishing.

Exploring ways hand-lettered typography can fit together like a puzzle is one of my favorite things. I take photos all over the place in thrift stores when I find great vintage packaging. Every day when I make my to-do list it’s a chance to try something new. I start with rough sketching, and finesse and tighten the letterforms up in the cleaned-up artwork phase. When the letters line up just so, while still keeping their hand-drawn funky vibe, I win. I like to focus on readability in my lettering work; my script work veers from the classic handwriting forms so it’s as readable as possible for the widest audience. I’m a great resource in consulting for readability in your logo design or sign designs if you’d like to reach out.

In the future, I’m excited to experiment with creating fonts for my computer so I can offer customizable art prints. Wait til you see what those look like – they’re already in my artwork folder, just waiting for the final touches.

This hand-lettering artist portfolio shows you just a tiny bit of my hand-drawn typography skills. I’d be super into projects that include book covers, posters, flyers, t-shirt designs, and even hand-lettering envelopes for weddings. Need a chalkboard with some semi-permanent chalk marker headings on it? Want some fun directional signs for your next event? I’m your artist!

I would love to collaborate with you on hand lettering projects. Let’s talk more about it – you can contact me here to get started.
