DIY Coasters – Cork with Hand Drawn Repeat Patterns

I feel like I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect coasters for ages. I had this cool wine painted coaster craft I came up with a few years ago, but over time the bark on the wood slices I used for those DIY coasters were meticulously picked off by mystery hands… Phil…

And then the cute ceramic ones I picked up from Pier One a while back… They’re breakable and we have kids. So no.

The most annoying thing about coasters though, is when they don’t absorb water. When they just let the condensation from the glass drool all over the table. UGH!!!

I think I may have a solve finally! Check out these super cute DIY coasters I made over the past week:

They’re cute and super easy to make, they won’t bust if they fall on the ground, and they look like they’re gonna hold up to condensation. So get to making a set for your own house!

What You Need

Get to Drawing

That’s literally it. I used a pencil and a ruler in some areas to get a little more precise with my hand drawn repeat pattern work, but it’s absolutely not a requirement. Just grab a marker, take a deep breath, and start doodling!
