True story when I lived in Wisconsin,I started my own national holiday that only a handful of people knew about. National Wilson Phillips Day was yesterday, January 31, and I hang my head in shame for not participating in years. On National Wilson Phillips Day, you go to your local thrift stores and try to find a copy of their self titled album from 1990. Then you wrap it up as a gift and mail it to a friend.

I think my buddy Jenn and I celebrated at least two or three years in a row.

That holiday never took off like “Valentine’s Day” and “Halloween” (picture me doing air quotes), but I’m almost positive there’s at least a few more people out there that could get behind a whole month dedicated to beer.
