Recipes from TV: Hot Ham Water from Arrested Development

Last weekend, Josh was making us up some delicious fried ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch. Whenever he’s done cooking in the cast iron skillet, he likes to pour water in the really hot pan to help loosen up some of the stuff that’s crusted up on the sides. And when he did it this particular time, all I could think of was Hot Ham Water from Arrested Development.

Hot ham water is the perfect lunch when you want something watery, with a smack of ham to it.

One canned ham
A pot of boiling water

Cook it up

Find that canned ham
Put it in a pot of boiling water
