How to Make a Difference in Your Community

How to Make a Difference in Your Community - Hearts and LaserbeamsScience fact – giving makes you feel good.

Ok maybe that’s not backed up by any actual scientific findings. But it’s true, isn’t it? We feel better about life in general when we help others. If you wanna know how to make a difference in your community, charitable giving is a great way to do it.

Hydrate Church is launching at West Chatham Elementary School on September 20. Josh and I are really excited to be a part of Pastor Ryan and Jennifer’s adventure, to see this church grow in the Pooler community, and to be a part of their commitment to community service. In these last couple of weeks before their very first Sunday Hydrate Church could really use your help!

Items Needed by Hydrate Church

If you’ve got any of these, Hydrate Church would be so grateful for your donations!

  • Printed envelopes for charitable giving
  • Four Offering Buckets (Something a little nicer than what you’d take to the beach, guys.)
  • One blue EZup Tent
  • Four Parking Team safety vests
  • Four large signs for hallways
These will be large signs that give directions to the kids church, Auditorium, Nursery, and Restrooms. This is a great contribution if you’ve got an in with a sign shop!
  • 4 Coffee makers
  • A lot of 8′ tall pipe and drape sets
This one is going to be really instrumental in creating the environment Hydrate Church has envisioned for their Sunday morning experinences – click here to check out what pipe and drape is on Amazon.
  • Two tall round hospitality tables
  • One 8′ folding table
  • Gift for first time visitors
Do you have a connection with someone at a promotional items company? Think coffee mugs, pens, notepads, things like that.
  • Bathroom soap / tissue / paper towels / Lysol spray
I’m notorious for giving really practical gifts – if you’re the same way, this is the donation for you.ย We’ve got great bar soaps for the adults bathroom, still lookin’ for liquid soap for the kids!
  • One Mac mini computer for running the slides
  • One computer monitor for the Mac mini
  • One set of Drums

If you’re local, you can email Pastor Ryan at ryan@hydratechurch.com to coordinate a pickup/dropoff time. If you’re one of our out of town friends, Hydrate Church’s mailing address is 463 Pooler Pkwy #107 Pooler, GA 31322.

Make a difference with a financial donation

Most of my blog readers are small business owners – you all know how hard it is to get going. You know the kind of money involved to really have a solid launch. Hydrate Church is poised to make a really positive impact on Pooler, but they need your help if you can give it.

Any given blog post on my website gets blasted out to thousands via my email newsletter and social media. If just 100 of you gave Hydrate Church just 10 dollars to help support their launch, that’s a thousand bucks. You’re supporting a church that’s open to every single person out there, one that’s committed to community service.

Do you have ten dollars to spare? Would you consider donating it to Hydrate?

I’ll sweeten the charitable giving deal for you

If you read this blog post and donate one of the items listed above or make a financial contribution, email me at info@stephcalvertart.com – I’ll add your business name and a link to your site on this page as a supporter. Want me to include your logo? Done. This site has a Google page rank of 4, and it’s good for seo when a site with a beefy page rank links up to your site. True story.

I’ll even send out a tweet to my over six thousand followers with any kind of promotion you’re running right now!

Thank you guys in advance for your support – we heart you!

Huge thank you to these supporters
