I had such a great mail day recently when I received a few product samples of these. It had been so long since I had drawn them, I almost forgot about the whole project. (Just kidding, I’ve been waiting by the mailbox with bated breath to see these for months. Also, spell check just told me it’s not spelled baited breath. Um, it’s not? What the heck is bated breath?)

Whenever I get product samples with my art, I put a couple in my work archive. I use that box when I visit schools, to show all the cool things you can do with an art and design career. Two of the samples go to our two kids as well, and you better believe the second I handed Joy her packs of painting sheets, she had every single one finished in about two days. She was a girl obsessed!
