Playskool Toys for Babies On-The-Go

I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Playskool. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.

I don’t know if I mentioned it, but I’ve happily been tasked as the Nursery Coordinator for Pooler’s brand new Hydrate Church! One thing that’s been awesome about it is the secret downsizing of our own stash of baby toys to help get the church’s play room for babies off the ground. Everything that was way too young for our kids, and easily cleanable with a disinfectant wipe, went into a tote bag (along with an overly boisterous Tickle Me Elmo that was going to meet an unfortunate end if he stayed in our house any longer).

Playskool Toys for Babies on the Go - Hearts and LaserbeamsStarting a church from scratch means we’re working with a pretty limited budget, so you can imagine how excited I was to receive a free box of brand new Playskool toys for babies on the go. The Playskool folks sent five toys for the kids to play with on Sunday mornings:

  • Fold’N Go Elephant
  • Pop-Up Shape Sorter
  • Dressy Kids
  • Stack’N Stop Cups
  • Roll’N Gears Toy

What’s so great about these toys?

Hydrate Church happens every Sunday morning at 10am at West Chatham Elementary school, at 820 Pine Barren Road in Pooler. We don’t have a permanent location or office space just yet, meaning every single piece of equipment we have needs to be super portable for easy setup, use, and storage.

Playskool Toys for Babies on the Go - Hearts and LaserbeamsThis brand new line of Playskool On-The-Go toys is perfect, because they’re classic activities young ones enjoy like shape sorting, and they fold up tiny when you’re done with them. Some of these toys would fit in your diaper bag or jacket pocket with no problem!

Pretty much the second I brought these toys out as I finished setting up the nursery on Sunday morning, Victoria and Mollie were eager to show Joy just how everything worked.

As the older kids headed down the hall to Tonya at kids’ church, the babies had a blast playing with the toys during the Sunday service.

And when everyone went home for the day, I was super excited to see how tiny all of the Playskool On-The-Go toys folded and fit into the Nursery’s storage bucket, ready to use again next week. You should join us! Hydrate Church. 10am. West Chatham Elementary. You bring your babies; I’ll bring the Playskool toys.
