1999: “Teddy Bears Aren’t Trapeze Artists”. Winner, MTV Student Animation Awards. Someday I’ll transfer that VHS tape to digital media to share with you. Picture cute teddy bears swinging on trapezes, and the aftermath when their cute little arms aren’t sewn to handle stress at the seams.

1995: Winner, McDonnell Douglas space-themed student art contest. I painted a super cool astronaut in space with really bright bold colors, won a savings bond, cashed it in early, and spent the money on gas. Because high school.
