Guess Phil’s Favorite Movie Based on Food (Hint: It’s Star Wars) #starWars

So a couple of weeks ago, I posted on Facebook that we were seriously thinking about introducing Phil to the Star Wars movies.

Where can you watch Star Wars online, anywhere? Amazon Prime?I want the original 1977 one please and thank you.I'll also settle for a youtube clip of Bill Murray lounge singing about Star Wars.

Our buddy Greg was ON IT. He not only has all of the movies on DVD, but he brought all 6 over so Phil could watch them whenever. He’s also a huge Star Wars nerd, and knows what AT-AT stands for.

If you just said the full name in your head as you read that, you’re a huge nerd, too. For serious.

So this has very quickly become Phil’s favorite thing to watch. He’s seen every single one except for Episode 3 – we’re holding off on that for a bit because it’s PG-13, and we wanna check it out before we okay it for the 4 year old.

In the meantime, our little boy is running through the house singing the Star Wars theme music at the top of his lungs.

He’s making his own Star Wars Lego spaceship creations.

Phil hit new levels of Star Wars fandom when we went grocery shopping yesterday.

Star Wars Food - Hearts and Laserbeams

We went down one aisle and saw the limited edition cereal. I asked him if he’d rather have Yoda or Darth Vader, and he picked his favorite green alien. But then… I asked him if we shouldn’t just get both of them. (I’m no help.)

After that, it was almost like we were on the hunt for Star Wars food. Mac n cheese? Yes please! Light Saber ice pops? GENIUS!

Now if we could just find the little frog things Jabba eats in Jedi next time we’re shopping, we’ll be set.
