Today’s Peek in the Illustration Studio

Lunch break. Subbing high school art again today – while the students work on their own projects I’ve been digging into the copy of Adventures in Lettering by @bydawnnicole that I picked up at the library this week. .
Really great lettering exercises, and I’m making a mental note to learn more about traditional calligraphy because that’s been the most challenging chunk of the book so far.

She is currently querying literary agents with her first author/illustrator book projects.
