Today’s Peek in the Illustration Studio

YOU GUYS. Box one of two with copies of the books I illustrated for Capstone Publishing showed up on our porch last night!!!!! I can’t wait for the second box to get here so I can see the other three books in this series!!! It’s surreal not only holding 125+ hours of work in my hands, but seeing my kids read it and find funny stuff I hid in the illustrations. .
This feels so major to me – after close to twenty years in the art and design field, this is the first project to have my name attached to it… .
And we checked online last night – on Amazon the Dinosaur Daydreams books are shipping, no more pre-orders! If you do a search for Steph Calvert all four books should come up.

Freelance illustrator Steph Calvert is an award-winning artist with 24 years of experience working as a creative professional. She is based in McDonough, Georgia, just south of Atlanta.

Steph Calvert has expertise as a children’s book illustrator. She is an expert surface pattern designer for art licensing and creates line drawings for publishing and product design. Steph has years of additional expertise as a mural artist, creating original art, and logo design for small businesses. She is currently querying literary agents with her first author/illustrator book projects.
