Today’s Peek in the Illustration Studio

I like painting classes like the Bob Ross class I took with Kim yesterday because it’s usually subject matter and styles which are vastly different from my own.

I force myself to do exactly as I’m told instead of making art my way, because then I can learn as much as possible about other techniques. (Painting with the palette knife yesterday rocked my world.) Then I can come home and make something ridiculous on my own.

I kind of really want to add a tiny shark fin in the ocean.
