Right around Thanksgiving, a link was passed around Facebook about a family that had been embroidering the signatures of everyone present at each year’s holiday dinner on a tablecloth.

I fell in love with the idea so much I started our own Calvert Thanksgiving tablecloth. I’ve been hand embroidering signatures every evening this week. I now wanna embroider everything that crosses my path.

The really neat perk to this project is we’ll get to see the progression as our kids’ handwriting develops over time, though Joy’s signature could stay this cutely scribbled forever and I’d be all right with it.
