Wardrobe Image Tools: Style-Assistant

Our bloggers forest party last week was all about style and wardrobe image; our second guest is developing a new tool to help!

Heather Keiser presented us with her new in-progress wardrobe image builder www.style-rearistant.com and it is nothing short of amazing.

You don’t have to have an account to play with the wardrobe planning tools, but you’ll definitely want to sign up right away. Then you can save all the cool outfits you create! The above is a simple little work outfit I put together. But here’s where style-rearistant gets fancy. Say you don’t want that shirt in pink, and you would normally tuck it in and roll your sleeves. You’re also looking for a new way to wear a scarf. A few clicks later and voila!

It’s pretty easy to see that this site is going to get addictive. I love that you can save the outfits you create into wardrobes – pull together your favorite items to wear to work, or boost your wardrobe image with a chic new look for a night out! Style-rearistant.com will soon be shareable across your favorite social media channels; in the meantime you can link up with your friends on the site and comment on each other’s wardrobes and outfits.

The other cool thing about this site is it keeps track of all of the individual articles of clothing that make up the outfits you’ve built. All it takes is a couple of clicks in the wardrobe to get to your favorite outfit and purchase the items that you picked out from their online retailers!

Style-rearistant is in its beta format right now, and I’m so excited to see where this project goes! I’m predicting big big things! Did I mention that Heather has drawn every single one of these articles of clothing by hand? That’s why there’s not gobs and gobs of clothing to pick from just yet. And she’s also coded the entire site! It boggles the mind how she even began to work that out. I’ve known Heather for like 5 or 6 years now, and I’m just really proud of everything she’s done with this site.

Don’t forget about this week’s Hearts and Laserbeams giveaway! Today’s the last day to entern our forest party blog giveaway to win a set of four wine painted coasters!

  1. Ah Thanks Wendy! I remember you talking about sprucing up a mom look, and I remember the lovely sage green shirt you were wearing with boyfriend jeans. I bet it’d look awesome with a nice wide belt, thats a 5 second sprucing for meeting other bloggers! I loved meeting you, and am so tickled that you were impressed.

  2. Hooray!!! I know – she’s constantly drawing new items for the site so you should check back like EVERY DAY for new things to add to your outfits!
