Today’s Peek in the Illustration Studio

Our chalkboard wall has taken a beating over the years, from chalk markers that never quite erased to a small accidental hole… Patched the wall this summer and the kids helped me put a fresh coat of paint on.
I had no idea you were supposed to prime a chalkboard wall by putting chalk all over it before drawing on it… But this time we did it up right.

I declare this fresh newly primed chalk wall ready for monkey business!!
