Children’s Book Illustrator

As a children’s book illustrator, I love playing with bright colors, fun expressive poses, various hand lettering styles, and infusing everything I do with a great sense of humor. You can thank the movie Airplane for that.

My biggest illustration influences over the years have included Chuck Jones, Dan Santat, Mary Blair, and Bob Shea, along with the more emotionally heartfelt work of Maria Kalman. I’m a children’s book illustrator who loves a vintage gouache vibe paired with a bit more detail and more than a dash of fun!

I may be one of the most professional artists you can hire – I meet my deadlines, keep in contact as a long-term project progresses, and take all revisions in stride. Children’s book illustration projects are a team effort, and I am here for it!
