I got invited to go to a fun event at Burke Williams Day Spa in Mission Viejo next month! We’ll get to try out various spa services like facials, massages and martinis, and Meringue Bake Shop will have a dessert table in effect!

Oh yes, you read that right. Martinis are now a standard spa service. I have hereby decreed it.

Basically, if anyone needs me, I’ll be at the (dessert) bar. But also, I can’t remember the last time I went to a day spa. Definitely before I got prego with Phil, this much I know. So we’re looking at about 2+ years since the last time I got a massage. And between getting ready for my presentations at last weekend’s Craftcation Conference (recap coming soon!) and this next month’s various tee design and web projects, I’m looking at lots and lots of late work nights coming up. So I’m pretty jazzed for relaxing massagey-good times!

Once I got signed up for this event, Burke Williams passed on some day spa deals that they have available for everyone this month – here’s what they sent me to share with you:

Wait, did that say stem cells? I’ll be honest, the second I read that I thought about the South Park episode where Cartman made a Pizza Hut out of stem cells. Mmmmmm, stem cells. Muy deliciouso? I’ll be sure to tell you all about that when I try it out next month!
