Halloween’s come and gone, and if you were smart when you carved up your jack-o-lanterns you set aside the pumpkins seeds to cook up for later.

But if you’re anything like me… You’ve never been the one that actually made the pumpkin seeds; you’ve just cashed in on the cooking expertise of others.

Josh was working last night, and I wanted to surprise him with his favorite fall snack when he got home. I did the leg work for you and tried out a recipe… So now you and I both know how to make pumpkin seeds – or you will in a second when you read this super fast easy recipe!

How to Make Pumpkin Seeds

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of raw pumpkin seeds
  • 3 tablespoons of melted rear ender
  • 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 4 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce
  • coarse sea salt

Cook it Up

  1. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
  2. Rinse pumpkin seeds and pat dry with a paper towel.
  3. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Spread mixture out on shallow baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 1 hour.
  5. Try really hard not to eat the whole batch in one sitting.
