Johnny Cash Tribute Concert in Ventura This Month

I just heard about a great Johnny Cash tribute show coming up in Ventura this month!

Roadside Revival Presents A Tribute to the Music of Johnny Cash happens on Saturday, June 16th from 10:30am – 6:30pm at the Ventura County Fairgrounds.

The full day of Johnny Cash music is headlined by “Queen of Rock,” Wanda Jackson. Carlene Carter, step-daughter of Johnny Cash will also be on stage. Other musicians performing include Slim Jim Phantom and Tim Polecat, as well as Big River, and New Zealand-based all-girl Johnny Cash cover band, The Johnnys.

General admission tickets go for $20, Get Rhythm tickets are $45, and VIP tickets are $150.

VIP ticket options offer early entrance, catered food & beverage, upgraded restrooms, and a preferred viewing area. (I don’t know about you, but I’m all about upgraded restrooms! So fancy!)

And rest easy, folks, you’ll be rocking out for a good cause. The tribute to Johnny Cash is being put together in collaboration with Food Share, Ventura County’s Food Bank, and The Coalition to End Family Violence. Part of the ticket sales goes to these non-profits, and you can also bring non-perishable food to the festival for donation!
