I created this #pleinAir painting on site in McDonough, GA at Big Spring Park, and I learned a fun fact that day! Did you know Big Spring Park is where the city of McDonough was founded? Literally because it was a big spring? (I mean body of water type of spring, not a springy type of spring.) It was such a peaceful day standing on the bridge over Big Spring, listening to birds singing and the weather was great! Note to self, include more sky in my next plein air piece lol.
