As you head out there into the great outdoors this weekend, if you happen to fall off your #bike in the most epic of ways, this is your reminder to pause, breathe, and if your #bicycle isn’t a mangled mess get back on and get back to riding. (One time I fell off my bike so epically that it bent the wheel outta shape and the bike wheels wouldn’t turn anymore, so I had to carry it home before walking to work. I was late of course. Ahhhhh, college memories lol.⁠

I absolutely loved illustrating this diagnostic deck for use in children’s therapy with Well and Ready Kids. It was a great challenge researching all the ways I could show the emotions and sensations that kids can feel when they really pay attention to their bodies, and presenting that in a lively and engaging way that lands better than your standard smiley face 1 to 10 chart. ⁠
