Today’s Peek in the Illustration Studio

When Hurricane Irma blew through here a couple of months ago, my family left town and hunkered down in a cabin in Tennessee for a week. It was an amazing experience, and for the first time in ages I was drawing in a sketchbook every single day. For our 11th wedding anniversary over the weekend, I made Josh a card based on one of my sketches… Because I can’t even begin to tell you how much we learned the usefulness of a range hood (and fan!) during our week of smoky bacon adventures.

Steph Calvert has expertise as a children’s book illustrator. She is an expert surface pattern designer for art licensing and creates line drawings for publishing and product design. Steph has years of additional expertise as a mural artist, creating original art, and logo design for small businesses. She is currently querying literary agents with her first author/illustrator book projects.
