Officially finished painting my open class pinewood derby car, just gotta spray some clear coat on it today and tomorrow. Beyond that it’s totally ready for wheels and weights to get added at the scout hut on Saturday!

I stress that this is open class because our Tiger Cub Phil made his own car – it was his design, his paint job, we helped where he wanted it but he likes lots of free rein to do his own projects. .
Which frees mom up to make ridiculous crap like a pizza car to race with on Pinewood Derby day.
