3 Ways to Save Water
Thanks so much to Influenster and Neutrogena for the free sample! All opinions expressed are my own.
Earth Day is coming up on April 22, and if you’ve been wondering how you can celebrate, why not learn 3 ways to save water? You’ve come to the right place, because I’ve got three tips for saving water that you’re gonna love!
1) Save Water, Stop Washing Your Car
Be honest – you weren’t gonna wash your car anyways. It’s just gonna get rained on.
Plus, if you don’t wash your car you can keep all the little bits of goldfish crackers wedged between the seats just in case of emergencies. You never know when you’re going to need disaster snacks!
2) Save Water, Drink Wine
The water reserves in southern California are at an all-time low; time to hydrate with something else.
But I wouldn’t recommend 8 glasses a day, guys.
That might be the sign of a problem.
3) Save Water, Don’t Wash Your Face
Gross! But not really. You can help save water by skipping the soap and water routine at the sink when you go to bed. Just use some Neutrogena Naturals Purifying Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes to remove your makeup. You can save up to five gallons of water every time you do.
I found out something else really cool about these makeup removing wipes when I posted about them on Instagram. Kelly Boyd from Savannah Yoga Center asked me what the towelettes themselves were made of, specifically if they were plastic mesh (which doesn’t break down). Because what’s the point of saving water if you’re trashing the planet another way? I inspected the Neutrogena Naturals packaging and discovered the towelettes are made from naturally derived fibers that come from sustainably-managed forests.
So pledge to get in on the Wipe for Water action! For every pledge made, Neutrogena will donate $1 to The Nature Conservancy to support water conservation, up to $50,000.

I’ve been using these makeup removing wipes instead of soap and water for 4 days now, and I love em. They get my super stubborn mascara off without a problem, and they smell amazing!
