Thanksgiving Party Napkins for Design Design
I’m so jazzed to share some Thanksgiving party napkins I got to create ridiculousness for with you! This Monday a friend of mine reminded me that OMG THANKSGIVING IS NEXT WEEK.
Mom life, you get it – every day is a blur, and then all of a sudden you get a moment to think straight and remember a major holiday is coming up in like a week. Thanksgiving isn’t a major holiday for some, but it’s one of my faves. Just an entire day of cooking and eating and then the napping. Ohhhhh, the napping.
So about those cute Thanksgiving party napkins!
This year has been so coo coo crazy that I haven’t been able to really dig into submitting art for licensing to my usual clients, but it’s really fun knowing this project from last year for Design Design is in stores for just a tad longer for the year! Because Thanksgiving is um… next week… it was a little tough to find an online source for your napkin-shopping needs, but Napkins2Go seems to have them in stock!
This “Let’s Get Sauced” illustration was what really drove this Thanksgiving party napkins project forward. I created this years ago, and became completely obsessed with animating it in PhotoShop to get the wobble juuuuuuuuust right.
It’s pretty great, right? I spent way too much time on that. But at the same time… no regrets LOLz.
One of my favorite parts of illustrating is adding little details to make the art more interesting – sometimes that includes online research (Pinterest, I’m looking in your direction) to really dig into cute ways to style cocktails. I could make beautiful cocktails at home, but my budget usually only includes a $3 bottle of wine from Aldi. Oh snap I could add garnishes to that. Hold on, be right back.
These Thanksgiving party napkins were just so much stinking fun to draw, and I can’t wait for my next Design Design project! These pieces are available for art licensing in other categories, and they’re selling well. Visit my contact page and get in touch if you’d like to license this artwork or commission me for a new project. I’m so thankful to you in advance! (See what I did there?)
