Just last weekend, we finished our latest web design project for homemade beauty products company HomeBody Botanicals:

HomeBody Botanicals is a Pasadena-based homemade beauty products company that is all about sustainability, organic and locally-sourced ingredients, and information. Here’s a little bit about Marcia Coppess, the mastermind behind these great products, from the web stie:

“I am passionate about herbs. I grow many on our property. I love to gather them in the hills beyond my home, and on trips up and down the western coast.

HomeBody Botanicals was born from my desire to provide my family with beautiful, herbally-based replacements for the commercial products we previously used every day. I am deeply concerned about the trend toward using unsafe chemicals as a cheap way to produce things that are better made without them. So here at HomeBody Botanicals, I use organically grown or sustainably wildcrafted, plant-based ingredients to create fragrant, safe, and effective products. I use local plants as much as I can.”

I really love the look of the site that we came up with together, and I’m looking forward to trying some of her homemade beauty products soon! You’ll be able to find HomeBody Botanicals at the Santa Ana installment of the upcoming Patchwork Indie Arts and Crafts festival on May 27. You can also get some of Marcia’s fabulous homemade beauty products at the upcoming Uptown Village Market in Long Beach on June 1 and 2.
