Free Printables: Sorting Garbage Recycle Bin Signs

Recently, we’ve been introducing Josh’s mom Carole to sorting garbage.

She’s with the times, I promise! We’ve had conversations in the past where the topic of trash came up, and she’d tell me how Las Cruces, New Mexico didn’t have a recycling program. And in a smaller city like that, it’s just not something that’s widely done. Even in today’s day and age. Coming from a city where plastic bags were banned to help with waste and pollution, the no recycling program thing just sounds weird.

But times they are a changin’, and Carole lives somewhere with a recycling program now! It’s taken us a couple of weeks to get on top of sorting garbage, but I think we’re there. And it always feels good to get something else settled in. We totally nerded out over new trashcans for under the kitchen sink.

Last weekend I grabbed the recycle bin and added some hand drawn flair to it, to help us remember which is which.

And then I thought that this is a cute little sign could be helpful to y’all, too!
