Because check this out. It’s a numbers game, and if there’s 40 spots available in a charity print project and over 600 artists send in submissions… You have to be realistic that a very good number of those are going to be professional artists like you. When you go into an art contest fully expecting your work might not make it to the next round of review, and you just make the art that you really want to make, the piece turns out amazing.

And you don’t mind as much when it’s not picked.

Just kidding you still mind, LOL. Just not quite as much.

You don’t get all emo and despondent at least.

Caring Colouring 2 is a Colouring Book to Protect our Oceans. 100% of profits will be given to the Sea Change Project to help with the regeneration of the South African kelp forests. While I was not one of the chosen artists in the coloring book, I had a really great time drawing this coloring page, and I’m passing it on to you as a free download!
