everything is going to be okay

i know you were worried – i’m about 50% less sick today than i was yesterday, and the wisdom-tooth swelling for some reason decided to start really going away about an hour after we got home from dinner last night. so things are looking up!

i’m trying to get better about blogging, like back on the almost daily routine. so let me tell you about switchplate covers. i started this little project the other night and had to stop cuz i was just too ill, but i’m almost done with it now – i’ve been taking some cool patterned papers (wrapping paper and stuff like that) that i’ve been saving for a while, and decoupagin’ em onto lightswitch and outlet covers. they’ve turned out pretty cool for a first try! if you do it yourself, i definitely recommend using thinner paper instead of heavy scrapbooking paper. the heavier paper does better on the front side, when you’re trying to get it to look smooth and all that, but the back side where you have to cut the holes out and finish everything off is just much much easier with thinner paper.

that’s all i have to say about that, the end! if my phone didn’t hate my blog i’d post a pic but well, you know…
