Fund Projects: Oh Sully Kickstarter Project
We all know how hard it is to fund projects as a small indie business.
It’s great that Kickstarter came along to make it easier to fund projects. Not only can you reach your close-knit support base of family and friends, but you can contact a broader range of individuals that might be interested in supporting what you’re doing.
I was emailed this week with a link to a great children’s book Kickstarter project, and I’m excited to share it with you! Oh Sully is a story by Long Beach’s own Kevin Gard. It’s about a whale learning to appreciate his role in life, and the illustrations are all created using sewn pieces of fabric. Check out this great video about Kevin’s book:

This is adorable!! What a great way to use Kickstarter and totally dig the Surfrider Fdn. They rock!
I know, right? I love how they show the process of the book’s artwork in the YouTube video!
