Milestone Alert!

Oh I face forward in my car seat now. No big whoop.

That was Phil’s exact attitude when we spent 27 hours re-installing his car seat so it’d face forward recently. (And by we, I mean Josh.) But since then, he’s totally gotten on board with it. He’s had a blast watching cars going by; they seem to be easier for him to see from the new vantage point.

It’s kind of crazy just how fast this kid is growing. I don’t know if we’ve shared, but he’s started taking steps.

Steps, people. He had us help him walk down the block to trick or treat on Halloween:

Phil walks down the street on Halloween

To date the most steps he’s taken on his own without hanging on is up to 8. He wants it so bad, but he’s not quiiiiiite ready to let go and just start running. We know he’s going to skip walking and just start running everywhere.

Little boy, slow down. You’re getting big way too fast.

Love, muhmuh
