My loss is your win! My journal design didn’t make it to the next round in the Lilla Rogers Global Talent Search competition, but this happy cheese pun can still brighten up your day!
Even though I didn’t make it to round 2 and even though I’m not gonna win 2 years of licensing representation, I’m ok with that. Cuz I did some work I’m really proud of, and to quote many a designer on Project Runway, I stayed true to myself as a designer. (take a drink)
Plus, not winning gives me an excuse to eat a vat of ice cream and do whatever I want with the artwork I created for the competition. Everybody wins!

This illustration made me chuckle. Sorry you didn’t win, but the ice cream sounds like a fantastic back-up plan!

I love it! It’s a cute drawing and winning isn’t everything… right? Besides, the ice cream is a great consolation prize!
