I am so excited to head out to Craftcation Conference tomorrow, that I’m planning out some outfits & looks today! I shove off bright and early Wednesday morning from Savannah, Georgia, high tail it across the country to LA, then drive north to Ventura to arrive in the afternoon.

In theory, rest happens Wednesday night. But if last Craftcation is any indication, sleep will NOT be a part of my trip!

One thing I’m doing differently this time is planning outfits & looks for each day of the conference. Last year, I had the pleasure of meeting Nicole Longstreath of The Wardrobe Code, and she pretty much revolutionized how I get dressed.

She taught me how to put together totally cute outfits & looks that were both creative and professional, AND most importantly used items that were thrifted or already in my closet!

Would you believe aside from the rounded cat eye glasses in the first picture… That literally NOTHING in my outfits & looks pics is new? I’m dressing to present my art and design topics completely from items that have been in my closet for a year or more.
