This “pray to catch the bus” quote has been one of my all time faves for as long as I can remember…

The funny thing is for the longest time I thought it was a Maya Angelou or Stephen King quote. Then my buddy Kim actually googled it for me and was like nope… Julia Cameron.

Facepalm. Of course it’s a quote from The Artist’s Way.

I remember working my way through about the first half of The Artist’s Way in my early twenties. Then I lost track of it, and a few years later lost my copy of it.

This pray to catch the bus quote… It hit me hard. Because nothing happens for you if you just sit around waiting, guys.

Pray for it, then work for it.
