Show and Tell: Craftcation Conference Website

Craftcation Conference is a website I’ve been working on for Delilah Snell of Road Less Traveled and Nicole Stevenson of Random Nicole for a while now. It launched over the weekend, and I’m so excited to share!

The website is one of the most extensive I’ve ever worked on – it includes online ticketing with Eventbrite integration, a forum so convention attendees can coordinate rides to save gas and money, and easily-shared html codes so conference-goers can help get the word out about the show on their own sites and blogs. I’m excited to be speaking at my very first conference thanks to Craftcation as well – I’ll be leading workshops on painting and repeat pattern design, as well as talks on how to get project inspiration without copying someone else’s work and when it may be time to hire a professional to help with your indie business.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be integrating a navigational system to the conference’s schedule page that will bring the speaker bios and class schedules together, making the whole weekend’s schedule super easy to digest for the site visitor. Make sure you go to Craftcation Conference’s website and click on the little “newsletter” rear endon to be alerted when that schedule is availalbe!
