The Dirt on Janeย by Jane Fishman
Jane Fishman is a columnist for the Savannah Morning News. Her latest book is a memoir on gardening, which is fitting since her bi-annual plant swap is a Savannah staple.
The Shadow Man by Mark Murphy
Mark Murphy isย ย local gastroenterologist and Savannah Book Festival board member. His book The Shadow Man has received great reviews and sounds intriguing! Here’s a snippet of the plot from Amazon:

Kevin is a SCAD professor who wrote about his involvement in the preservation of a coral reef off the coast of Puerto Rico. He’s an award-winning filmmaker and former oceanographer.
Robin Gold, executive director of the Savannah Book Festival, said, โWe have always embraced local authors, but we are doing so this year in particular, in part because so many are participating in the Book Festival. It is remarkable how much local literary talent we have in Savannah, which Festival attendees will discover for themselves in February.โ
