Safety Scissors Snafu: Don’t Worry, They Couldn’t Cut Butter.
Phil got to play with his safety scissors for the first time today, cutting up some old magazines.
I guess I should have been more prepared for the gleeful "Muhmuh, I'm cutting your sweater!" that came shortly after this photo.

My kids LOVE to use scissors! I know that I should let
them, you know, for fine motor skills and all but I really can’t
stand the TINY little pieces of paper that end up all over the
house! It is crazy the size of mess they can make from just one
piece of paper and scissors.
Oh you’re telling me! At the very least, for the most part, Phil’s crazy craft messes are contained in my office.
Which does NOTHING for my sanity… But at least the rest of the house is mostly kind of clean. Ish.
Bahaha! As soon as I saw that photo I cracked up because I knew he wouldn’t want to stick to paper.
Seriously! This guy keeps me on my toes constantly!
