Summer of Art Inspiration Part 3: Holidays

I’m back with some cute art inspiration that’s just for your favorite holidays!

Your favorites, not mine. I didn’t see any Halloween stuff to snap photos of.

(But still, these holidays are pretty great, too.)

Vintage Valentines Decor - Art Inspiration and Thrift Store

Vintage Valentines Day decor – digging the handpainted hearts with stripes, polka dots and checks patterns worked into them, as well as the brushy hints of flowers in the design.

Americana - God Bless the USA - Art Inspiration and Thrifting

Super cute God Bless the USA lettering over red and blue stripes of color.

Americana - flags and watermelons for fourth of july

Americana themes for the Fourth of July – flags with bigger stars, allowing space around them. You don’t necessarily need to follow real life – you know it’s an American flag without seeing every one of the 50 stars that’s on the real flag.ย Watermelon wall art with different coordinates working into the background of the artwork. Great distresses on the flag pieces.

Vintage graphic floral design on wooden napkin holder

I think these little graphic pop floral elements in Fourth of July colors are so cute!

Dimensional embroidery - sunglasses and flowers straw handbag

Check out the dimensional embroidery done with raffia on this straw handbag! I love that they also added some cute flowers to the sunglasses on this summer tote – the whole thing screams beach day.

Christmas tray with holly - Art Inspiration and Thrift Store

I know this isn’t the most amazing piece ever – it’s probably a set of three plastic trays someone picked up at the grocery store with plans to use them for a Christmas cookie party or something. But what I like here is the iconic shape (Christmas tree) filled with a coordinating pattern (boughs of holly).

It’s just cute is all.
