Easy Pasta Bake Recipe

I tried out a really easy pasta bake recipe for dinner recently, and it’s one I’m absolutely keeping on hand for the future.

We’ve had this kids’ recipe book for a while, and for the most part Phil is so picky he’s not into anything but peanut butter and jelly sandwiches or toddler food from a box I bought in the freezer section at the grocery store. But we parents love the recipes in that book. Like, a lot.

I think Josh’s favorite is the Sweet and Sour Chicken. But that’s not what I made for dinner last week, guys.

Last week I made an easy pasta bake.

Easy Pasta Bake Recipe

What you need:

  • A 16ox box of pasta (we used ziti)
  • A big ol jar of spaghetti sauce (We used one with lots of onions and garlic in it)
  • 2 cups of mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cups grated Parmesan cheese
  • A 6oz bag of spinach
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Cook it up:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the pasta according to the directions on the box. Add the spinach to the pasta during the last minute of cooking. Drain it. Eat some of the noodles to make sure they’re not poison.
  3. Pour the noodles and spinach into a 9×13 baking dish. Stir in 1 and 1/2 cups of the mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of the Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle with remaining cheeses.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. Scarf down the entire pan of food. Don’t share with anyone. Feel bad about yourself the next morning.
