I think I am the only one left on the planet who doesn’t
own a crockpot. I think I need to just get myself out there and buy
one so I can start making all the amazing crockpot recipes I
find.
You don’t even have to spend a lot on a crockpot! We got ours for 6 bucks used at a flea market, and I’m always seeing them for sale at thrift stores!
That’s actually a really good idea. Will be on the lookout
for one.
And don’t forget eBay! But you’re taking a chance havin someone ship that ceramic inside piece…
I’ve never made spaghetti in the crockpot! I’m so excited
to try it out!
It’s totally dinner magic, that old crock pot… Rushing around handling the morning and you hurriedly shove a bunch of ingredients in… But then at the end of the day you have this magic dinner waitin for you!
Except you still have to cook the noodles.
And set the table.
But STILL!
I have never made spaghetti sauce in the crock pot with raw
burger because it seems like it wouldn’t get broken up well like I
like it. I suppose that I could cook it ahead of time….
It totally does! That burger’s had all day to break down and do what it’s supposed to. You could totally cook ahead, but I’m way too pressed for time 🙂
Crock pots RULE! Cleaning the stove drools.
AHAHAHA! Amen to that sisterpants.
I absolutely cannot wait to try this! I’m always looking
for quick, easy, and delish — and being a good Midwesterner, I’m
all about the crock pot! 🙂
Oh how I adore my crockpot! I’m just often too lazy to
prepare to use said crockpot but when I do, I absolutely love
it.
I’m the same way! It seems like such a hrearle to fit in making dinner with the morning routine, but I’m always glad I did after the fact.
My local Goodwill ALWAYS has slow cookers, I got a huge Crock Pot that was in like new condition with lid for $8, plus every other Saturday, all merchandise is 50% off and all other days you can use that month’s 20% off coupon! Totally no need to buy retail!
That’s what I’m talking about! Plus you’re helping keep electronic waste outta the landfill by shopping Goodwill!
Reynolds slow cooker bags ROCK MY WORLD! Cleanup schmeanup!
OMG I’ve never heard of those before. I’m going to need to look into that… Because oy vey on cleaning up the aftermath of a slow cooker dinner!
